Description
Prawle Cottage is a pair of houses dating from the early 18th century. They are timber framed and covered with channelled render, with the ground floor on the right end finished in painted brick. The building has a plain tile roof that is steeply pitched, gabled at the left side where it adjoins the next house, and half-hipped on the right. There is a multiple red and grey brick ridge stack located to the right of the center, along with a projecting brick gable end stack on the right. The windows feature irregular fenestration with three three-light leaded casements. To the left of the stack, there is a door with six flush panels leading to No. 4, positioned under a central window, and a similar door to the right of the stack, both with flat bracketed hoods. The interior has only been partly inspected, revealing exposed framing to the left of the stack.
