Description

31 High Street is a timber-framed building that has been altered and appears to date from the mid-19th century. It stands three storeys tall and is finished with stucco. The roof is covered with old tiles and rises to a peak, featuring a double bracket eaves cornice. On the second floor, there are two sash windows with Italianate architraves. The first floor showcases a five-light mullioned and transomed window, which is topped with a cornice and flanked by double pilasters. This building is part of a group with Nos 31 to 33.
