Description

Laburnum Cottage is a house dating from the early 17th century or earlier. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a gable end jetty to the left that is underbuilt in buff brick. The roof is steeply pitched and hipped, with gablets. There is a slender projecting buff brick stack towards the front of the left gable end, and a brick ridge stack located to the left of the centre. The windows are irregularly arranged, consisting of three 3-light casements. The entrance has a boarded door with a flat bracketed hood situated under the stack. At the rear, there is a lean-to. The interior has not been inspected.
