Description

Anne's Cottage is a house dating to 1744. It is constructed of red and grey brick in a Flemish bond pattern and has a plain tile roof. The house is gabled, with gable-end stacks. The front facade has a regular two-window arrangement of two-light casement windows. The ground floor windows have segmental heads. A central boarded door is set within a red and grey brick porch with a hipped tile roof. A rear lean-to addition was constructed in 1948, incorporating a two-storey central stair turret with tile-hung sides and a hipped tile roof. A 1744 datestone is visible on the front elevation. The interior has not been inspected.
