Description

Verneys is a house, formerly used as a house and shop, likely dating from the 17th century, with a facade that was updated in the late 18th or early 19th century. The ground floor is painted brick, while the first floor is tile-hung. It has a plain tile roof and a continuous jetty. The roof is gabled to the left and abuts the adjacent property on the right. There are no visible chimneys. The windows are irregularly placed and comprise three three-light leaded casements. A 19th-century canted bay window is positioned towards the centre of the ground floor, and a large two-light window is located towards the right end. There is a door with flush panels and small top lights leading up two steps on the left end, and a boarded door up two steps on the right end. The interior of the property has not been inspected.
