Description
The East Wing of Beachborough Park is the northern part of a house built in 1813 by Sir James Drake Brockman. It is constructed of painted brick and features a slate roof, standing two storeys tall. The west elevation has a dentilled brick eaves cornice and a hipped roof, with a broad projecting red and grey brick chimney located towards the center. The windows are arranged irregularly, consisting of a single-light casement at the left (north) end and two recessed 12-pane sash windows to the right of the chimney. The east elevation also has 12-pane sash windows set in moulded architraves. There is a door made of four fielded panels located in a painted brick lean-to with a slate roof at the right end of the west elevation. Originally, the wing extended further to the right (south) as part of an H-plan house, but the central range was destroyed by fire in the 1950s. The interior has not been inspected.
