Description
Mulberry House is an 18th-century building featuring two parallel ranges, standing two storeys high with attics. The exterior is stuccoed and grooved to resemble masonry, topped with a tiled roof that has a wooden bracket eaves cornice. The front facade includes five sash windows with intact glazing bars. The doorcase is adorned with a shallow open pediment, pilasters, a semi-circular fanlight, and a door made up of six fielded panels. On the right side elevation, the ground floor is constructed of stone rubble, while the first floor is hung with curved tiles. An extension on the left side of the house has been demolished. The rear elevation also features a stuccoed ground floor and a first floor hung with curved tiles, along with two 19th-century hipped dormers. There are five sash windows set in moulded architraves, including a notable central Gothic-headed sash.
