Description

This is a headstone commemorating Mary Laker, located about 17 metres south of the south-west corner of the nave of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of stone. The headstone features an eared and cambered top, which is intricately carved with a cherub's head and two skulls. It marks the burial of Mary Laker, who died in 1762.
