Description

Sunset Cottage, Sunrise Cottage, and Ladson Lodge are early 19th-century buildings located on New Street and Ness Road. They form an L-shaped block with two storeys. The front facing New Street has three windows, while the side facing Ness Road has four windows. The south-west wing, now known as Sunset Cottage, is constructed of painted brick. The rest of the block features painted brick on the ground floor and tile-hanging above. The buildings have a tiled roof, and most of the glazing bars remain intact. Ladson Lodge includes a doorcase with a moulded surround and a pediment supported by brackets, along with a six-panelled door.
