Description

Chestnut Cottages, located on Church Road, are a row of three mid-19th century cottages. They are two storeys tall, with the ground floor painted and the first floor covered in weatherboarding. The cottages feature a hipped tiled roof and three sash windows, which are set in wooden architraves that have verticals only. The doorcases are simple, with Nos 1 and 2 having a double doorcase that includes simple wooden weatherboards supported by brackets. These cottages are recognized as a Grade II group.
