Description

This is a wall attached and located about 30 metres to the west of Wingham Vicarage. It was rebuilt in the mid-18th century from an earlier structure. The wall is made of red brick, with the lower courses constructed in part using English Bond. It stands approximately 6 feet high and extends 30 metres along the roadside. There is a blocked pedestrian gate in the center, flanked by piers topped with stone caps. The wall returns to the Vicarage and ramps up to about 8 feet high.
