Description

No 57 on High Street is an 18th-century house constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings. It features one window and an attic storey with a dormer. The building has an eaves cornice, and the windows retain their glazing bars. The doorway is framed and has a projecting cornice above a six-panel fielded door, with the top two panels being glazed. This house, along with Nos 53 to 57 on High Street and Nos 1 to 5 on Church Street, as well as Nos 22 to 34 on Fisher Street, forms a group.
