Description

No. 55 High Street is an 18th-century house dated 1741. It is constructed of painted brick and consists of two storeys with two windows. The doorway is framed and features a projecting cornice above a six-panel fielded door, with the top two panels being glazed. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 53 to 57 (odd) on High Street, Nos. 1 to 5 (odd) on Church Street, and Nos. 22 to 34 (even) on Fisher Street.
