Description

Sydney House is an early 19th-century building located at 22 Walmer Castle Road. It has two to three storeys and a semi-basement, constructed from stock brick. The building features a parapet with stone coping. The right side has two storeys with three windows, one of which is a sash window flanked by three-light curved bows on all floors. The central entrance has a simple round-headed doorcase with a blocked fanlight above. The door is a six-panelled design, with the top panels cut away and glazed. Access to the entrance is via six stone steps leading to the street, accompanied by iron railings.
