Description

Little House, located about 10 metres east of Japonica Cottage on The Forstal, is a house that was once attached to a shop. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and features stacks on both the left and right sides. On the first floor, there are two wooden casement windows, and on the ground floor, there is one casement window on the left and a canted bay window on the right. The central entrance consists of a boarded door with a gabled hood above it. At the rear, there is a mid-20th century shop front with a canted glazed front. This building is included for its group value.
