Description

This barn, located about 60 metres northwest of Newhouse Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century. It is timber framed and clad with red brick, topped by a corrugated iron roof. The roof is half-hipped on the left side and hipped on the right, featuring a hipped mid-stray. On the left return, there are segmentally headed wooden casements. Inside, the barn consists of three bays with aisles and passing shores to the arcade posts, and it has a clasped purlin roof.
