Description
Thatched Cottage is a 16th-century house located on Canterbury Road in Selsted. It is timber framed with red brick infill and features a thatched roof. The cottage has four framed bays and is one storey high with an attic, sitting on a plinth. It has a continuous jetty supported by brackets and a hipped roof with a stack on the left side and three raking dormers. The ground floor has four wooden casements, with the one on the centre left in a blocked doorway. The right end bay projects slightly, and the entry is located in an outshot on the right return.
