Description
School Farm House is a house dated 1691, constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high on a plinth and features a plat band and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The house has a cluster of stacks to the centre right and shaped gables that are stepped at two levels, adorned with plat bands and pilaster strips, and flanked by large volutes capped with a pediment, resembling a true Dutch 'halsgevel'. The wall ties indicate the date of construction, with '16' on the left gable and '91' on the right gable.
On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows and a small sash window to the centre right. The ground floor has two glazing bar sash windows with cambered heads. The entrance features a central rib and stud door with a semi-circular fanlight set in a round-headed doorway, which is part of a projecting porch topped with a shaped and pedimented Dutch gable.
