Description
This is a mid-19th century terrace of nine buildings located on the south-west side of High Street. The buildings are three storeys high, with a basement and attic level, and are constructed of stock brick. They have a slate mansard roof with a parapet and two dormers on each building. The windows are mainly original timber sash windows with glazing bars intact. Later 19th-century shop fronts have been added to the ground floor. The listed buildings, numbered 1 to 19A, and number 23, form a group with numbers 2 to 12, Victoria Crescent.
