This is an early 19th-century facade applied to a timber-framed building. It stands three storeys high and has a colour-washed exterior with a coping detail. The building has one three-light bay window with intact glazing bars on the second floor. An early 19th-century shop front features panelled risers. It forms a group with the Church of St Alphege and properties numbered 10 to 28.
