Description

This is a pair of late 18th-century buildings located on the west side of Palace Street. They are constructed of red brick, with number 15 being colour-washed and having a rusticated base. Number 15 retains one sash window with original glazing bars, while number 14 has a simple 19th-century shop front. Number 15 features a stone eaves cornice. The buildings have a restored bow-fronted doorcase with a fanlight above, and a single stone step leads to the entrance. They are situated within a group setting that includes the Church of St Alphege and properties numbered 10 to 28.
