Description

Number 5 on St Alphege Lane is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick with stone coping. The front features one sash window set within a moulded architrave. On the ground floor, there is a three-light curved bow window. The entrance has a moulded wooden doorcase with a small hood above, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-fielded panelled door. This property, along with numbers 2 to 6, forms a group with numbers 10 and 11 on Palace Street.
