Description

This is an 18th-century building of three storeys, constructed of red brick with a stone coping. It originally had three window bays, one of which is now blank. The first floor features a 19th-century projecting bay window. The building has a prominent doorcase with a vestigial hoof detail, a keystone, and rusticated pilasters, leading to a six-panelled door. The ground floor windows are sash windows that have been altered. Nos. 2 to 6, St Alphege Lane, form a group with Nos. 10 and 11, Palace Street.
