Description

This is a three-storey timber-framed building, refaced with painted brick, dating from the 19th century. It has a hipped roof with a moulded wooden eaves cornice and end quoins. The front features two sash windows with only vertical glazing bars, and an overhang. A 19th-century shop front is present, characterised by pilasters. Internally, there are original timber beams. The building forms a group with the Church of St Alphege and numbers 10 to 28 Palace Street.
