No. 9 Sun Street is a 3-storey timber-framed building that has been plastered over. It is a continuation of the Sun Inn and features sash windows, some of which are sliding. The main elevation has three sash windows, while the side has one double and one triple sash window. The late 19th-century shop front includes panelled risers at No. 9.
