The sewer vent column, dating from around 1870, is located in Herne Bay on Grand Drive. It was manufactured by W Macfarlane and Co. in Glasgow and is made of cast iron. The structure consists of two lengths of circular pipe, with the lower section featuring a wider base. The upper section is topped with a Corinthian capital, which includes a ball fitting, an arrow windvane, and a spike adorned with a filigree crown.
