Description

25 Castle Street is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall and is constructed of red brick. It features an old tiled roof and a rainwater head. The building has a brick modillion cornice and includes two sash windows with intact glazing bars, most of which are cambered. There is a plinth at the base, and the doorcase is adorned with a wooden hood supported by console brackets and has six fielded panels. This property, along with 26 Castle Street and 37 to 41 Castle Row, forms a group of buildings of architectural significance.
