Description

An early 19th century pair of buildings located on the north west side of Castle Street. The buildings are two storeys with attics and basements, constructed of red brick with an old tiled roof, featuring one dormer window. Each building has one sash window with intact glazing bars and one blank window. Recessed panels are located above the first floor. Number 46 retains its original six-panelled door, and both buildings have semicircular fanlights above the doors. Numbers 40 to 48 form a group.
