Description

Nos 44 and 45 on Castle Street are an early 19th-century pair of buildings. They are three storeys high with a basement, constructed of red brick and topped with an old tiled roof. Each building has two window spaces, although No 44 has one blank space. The two central windows are set in arched recesses and feature sashes with intact glazing bars. Both buildings have six-panelled doors with semi-circular fanlights. Nos 40 to 48 form a group.
