Description

Don Jon House is a building with two parallel ranges, with the front range dating from 1774 and the rear range originating from an earlier period. It has two storeys and is colourwashed, topped with a slate roof featuring a crenellated parapet. A string course runs along the building. The front has two sash windows with 'Gothick' heads. The doorcase is located in a right-side passage extension and is topped with a curved gable. It features a rectangular fanlight with 'Gothick' glazing and a four-panelled door. In the 18th century, this building operated as a public house known as The Bell.
