St John's Hospital is a building from the later 19th century, featuring two storeys constructed of flint and rubble. It has a distinctive fishscale tiled roof and mullioned windows, although a left side bay has been added at ground level. The entrance is marked by a pointed doorcase. This building is part of a group that includes the Chapel, Refectory Hall, Kitchen, a section of wall at the rear of the Chapel, and Nos 1 to 7 (consecutive) at St John's Hospital.
