Description
St John's Hospital, built in the late 19th century, features a two-storey structure made of flint and ashlar with a fishscale tiled roof. The building is distinguished by four gables that have curved bargeboards. It includes six mullioned windows with stone surrounds and hood moulding. The entrance consists of four-centred arched doors made of wooden battens, which have peepholes with leaded lights and are reinforced with two large iron braces. This building is part of a group that includes the Chapel, Refectory Hall, Kitchen, a section of wall behind the Chapel, and Nos 1 to 7, all at St John's Hospital.
