Description

All Saints Cottage is a 16th-century, L-shaped timber-framed building, forming part of All Saints Court. It is situated on All Saints Lane and is grouped with the building at number 5A St Peter's Street. The building is timber-framed with plaster infill and painted brick on the ground floor, beneath an old tiled roof with a central brick stack. Simple iron brackets support the gutters. There are five casements in original window openings. An overhang is supported by joists and elaborate carved brackets depicting fabulous beasts. The ground floor has casement windows and simple doorcases. A section of the building is weatherboarded, and a 19th-century red brick extension features a tiled roof. A passage leads to the rear of the building on the left side.
