Number 18 The Friars is a building that originated in the 18th century and has undergone alterations in the 19th century. It is two to three storeys high and has a stuccoed exterior. The roof is hipped and tiled, featuring a wooden bracket cornice, with one gable on the left side. The windows are sash style and do not have glazing bars. The entrance has a round-headed doorcase with a fanlight above it, leading to a later door. There is also a late 19th century pseudo timber-framed gable and a two-storey extension.
