Description
Ivy Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick on a ragstone base and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys resting on a plinth, with a plat band running along the exterior. The roof is gabled on the left side and hipped on the right, with chimney stacks located on the left end and towards the right.
On each floor, there are three segmentally headed wooden casements, and an additional casement is found in the outshots to the right on the ground floor. The central porch, which is from the 19th century, has a gabled design with decorative bargeboard, a pendant, and a finial. The porch also features a four-centred arched half-glazed door with Y-tracery leaded lights.
