Description

Applegarth, the former Post Office, is an 18th-century house that was extended in the 19th century. It features painted brick and tile hanging, with an extension made of painted stone and brick. The roof is plaid tiled and hipped, with the hip end of the rear wing visible above the ridge. There is a rear stack. On the first floor, there are two wooden casements, while the ground floor has a wooden casement and a shallow bow window to the right. The central entrance has a boarded door topped with a flat hood supported by brackets. To the left, there is a single-storey extension.
