Description

Court Lodge is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red and blue brick with a plain tiled roof. The two-storey building sits upon a plinth and features a plat band, with stacks located at the front of the roof ridge towards both the left and right ends. The windows are arranged in a regular pattern, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor. A central half-glazed door is recessed beneath a flat hood supported by brackets. A hipped rear wing extends to the right, while a gabled wing extends to the rear left. To the rear of the main building is a courtyard enclosed by a red brick wall, which incorporates a gateway on the right return. Attached to the courtyard is a single-storey outhouse constructed of stone and red brick, with a plain tiled roof and a boarded door.
