Description
The forge building, located about 30 metres east of Brook House, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ragstone with red brick dressings and features a plain tiled roof. The building is single storey and has quoins at the corners of its hipped roof. There are boarded openings on both the left and right sides, along with a central boarded hatch. A small projection is present at the right-hand opening. Brook House, which is adjacent, was formerly the carpenter/smith's house, making this building his forge. It is included in the listing for its group value.
