Description

This is a pair of houses located on the north side of Bridge Street. The exterior dates to the 17th century, though the core structure is older. The houses are timber-framed and faced with red brick in English bond, with Flemish bond and tile hanging to the return elevations. The roof is tiled, with a hipped design featuring gablets and stacks positioned centrally, at the rear left, and projecting at the right end. The windows are arranged regularly, with four vertically barred sashes on each floor; the ground floor windows have segmental heads. A door with a raking hood is located on the left, alongside a panelled door to the right.
