Description
Biggin Farm Cottage is a house, formerly a farmhouse, dating back to the 17th century with significant alterations in the 18th century. The house has a timber frame, with the ground floor built of brick and the upper floor tile-hung. The roof is steeply pitched, covered in plain tiles, and has a central brick stack. The facade is symmetrical with two windows on each floor. The windows are 20th-century casements, and the ground floor window openings have segmented heads. A 20th-century plank and stud door is set within a large hipped porch constructed of re-used timber posts. A 19th-century brick and weatherboard pentice is located on the right-hand side.
