Description
Mount Pleasant Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed with a timber frame, with some parts encased in brick, and is finished with colourwashed roughcast render. The roof is half-hipped and covered with clay tiles. The farmhouse has a three-room plan and stands two storeys high. On the left-hand bay, the roof slope extends down over an outshot. There is a variety of casement windows, most of which have glazing bars, with three on the ground floor and two on the first floor. A plank door leads to the outshot. A red brick ridge stack serves the two rooms on the left-hand side.
