Description

Fairlawn is a house dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is timber framed and weather boarded, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and features a hipped roof with stacks on the left side and at the right end. The front has a regular arrangement of windows, including three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two bays on the ground floor. The left bay has paired glazing bar sashes, while the right bay features margin light French windows with a top light. The central entrance door has six panels, with the top two being glazed, set in a moulded surround with a cornice. There is a later flat-roofed porch that was originally tented.
