Description
Keepers Cottage and Nos. 1 and 2 Middle Platt is a row of houses dating from the 17th century. The buildings are timber framed, with some exposed timber and rendered infill on the painted brick ground floor. They feature a plain tiled roof and stand two storeys high. The first floor has an exposed bresummer, and the roof is hipped to the left, with a gablet and stacks at both ends, as well as a clustered and buttressed stack in the center.
The row includes four gabled semi-dormers with mullioned and transomed windows, along with three large multi-paned casements below. There are also two half-glazed doors and a central passage entry. Keepers Cottage, which is to the right, is a later extension that is slightly recessed and has two wooden casements on the first floor and one on the ground floor, along with a half-glazed door. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot.
