Description
No. 30 High Street is a late 18th-century building, although it has a date of 1858 with the initials JM, likely indicating some alterations made at that time. The structure has three storeys and attics, featuring painted mathematical tiles on its exterior. The roof is tiled and includes modern dormers. The upper floors have two modern curved bow windows, which are fitted with modern glazing. The shopfronts have also been updated. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the north side of High Street, ranging from Nos. 10 to 44, which includes the Church of St Mildred.
