Description
No 32 on High Street is an early 19th-century house and shop. It is three storeys high and has a stuccoed exterior. The roof is hipped and tiled, featuring a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The building has two windows, with an iron balcony on the first floor and French windows that are fitted with Venetian shutters. Above these windows, there are pointed canopies or hoods that are supported by jalousies instead of columns. On the ground floor, there is a small bay window and a curved shop window, both of which are missing their glazing bars. A six-panel door is located between these features. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the north side of the street, which includes the Church of St Mildred, ranging from Nos 10 to 44.
