Description
This is a late 18th to early 19th century building on the north side of High Street. It is a two-storey building with an attic, constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. The roof has two dormers and a modillion eaves cornice. The windows are sashes, but their glazing bars have been lost. Originally, there were two small bay windows on both the ground and first floors. However, the eastern ground floor bay has been removed and replaced with a modern shopfront, which includes a hood. The building forms part of a group of listed buildings, extending from numbers 10 to 44, and incorporating the Church of St Mildred.
