Description
This description covers a courtyard and building located immediately to the east of and adjoining Court Lodge in Brabourne. The structure dates from the 18th century and was altered in the 20th century. The courtyard wall is built on a stone base with red brick and has been extended with red and blue brick, featuring plain tiled roofs. The roadside wall to the south, originally about 5 feet high, has been incorporated into a late 18th-century outbuilding that is one storey tall with a hipped roof. At the east end of the courtyard, there is a swept wall and gates, which were altered in the 19th or 20th century. This section connects to the rear northern wall, which includes a hipped red brick block on a stone base with a tiled roof and two boarded doors.
