Description

Regency Cottage is an early 19th-century building located on Bethersden Road in Smarden. It is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick, topped with a hipped tiled roof. The cottage features three sash windows, all of which retain their glazing bars. A notable feature is the cast iron balcony at the first floor level, which is supported by eight slender iron columns decorated with a heart and honeysuckle motif.
