Description

Burleigh Farm Cottages is the original Burleigh Farmhouse, a 15th-century timber-framed building with plaster and painted brick infilling. It features a three-bay hall with a 17th-century wing. The first floor of the end window bays originally extended out over the protruding ends of the floor joists and brackets, although the north-west one has been cut away. The eaves overhang on a curved brace and bracket. The building has a hipped tiled roof and two casement windows, along with an original door arch. The frame of the original hall window remains intact, and it has a crown post roof.
