Description
Biddenden Green Farmhouse is a 15th-century timber-framed and close-studded building featuring plaster infilling. The first floor of the end window bays extends outward, supported by the protruding ends of the floor joints and brackets, with the northern bay featuring a curved brace. The eaves of the central section overhang on brackets. The farmhouse has a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof with a pentice at the north end. It includes casement windows with diamond-shaped leaded panes. The entrance features a four-centred wooden doorway, set within an 18th-century moulded architrave surround, topped by a heavy flat hood supported by brackets.
